...but the foreword to the combat section for the second edition of Unknown Armies is... actually, I'm not entirely what you'd call it (besides 'good', of course). 'Compassionately hardcore', I suppose: it's a rare roleplaying game that starts out discussing combat by giving the reasons why you shouldn't and how you can avoid it. I note this rather than, say, any upcoming or new release because, well, THEY DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE ONE...
Sorry; it's been a gaming doldrums around here lately, both from a lack of new stuff and a lack of local vendor access. I badly need to find a reliable Anne Arundel County, MD gaming store.
