Supernatural Activities in Poughkeepsie, Part Ib

The assorted Princes of Hell find Poughkeepsie a much more suitable storage area or dumping ground than as a place to do actual work; they are, of course, mostly indifferent to the long term effects of the Bubble on its inhabitants.

Supernatural Activities in Poughkeepsie, Part Ia

More than you'd think, given the metaphysically dead nature of the place; Poughkeepsie is not devoid of interest to a number of groups.

Crossbreeds in Poughkeepsie

I missed a day, yesterday, so I'll post another one tonight.

Crossbreeds in Poughkeepsie

The Symphonically dead nature of Poughkeepsie tends to dissuade supernatural entities from settling there, as even the ones capable of surviving the town's unique environment rarely enjoy the experience. This is not to say that there isn't the odd refugee or two; but it's unlikely that they're voluntary settlers. Intro to Poughkeepsie.

And so we begin.

-Moe

Poughkeepsie, NY, USA a.k.a. "Fray", "the Bubble"

Poughkeepsie is a smallish American city of about 30,000 people located in New York State; it's a river city, with a history stretching back several centuries.  Humanity doesn't have much to say about the place; in the mundane world it's mostly known for its mildly memorable name and Vassar University.  In other words, to mortal eyes the city is not particularly noteworthy and hardly especially significant.  To celestial eyes, it's a place of horror - and we're talking in-space-nobody-can-hear-you-scream style horror.

Poughkeepsie.

This is going to be a bit of an experiment for me.  Relax, it's unlikely to detroy anybody's sanity.

Probably.

The idea here is, I have a weblog, I have a category called The Matter of Poughkeepsie, I wish to write an In Nomine netbook about the latter.  The text will be longish in places, and I wish feedback, so I'll post the text and let people comment on it here.  Should be fun, I think.

As to what kind of commentary... well, that's not exactly my call, is it?
