D'oh! "Barley" almost (but not quite) rhymes with "say" in about the way "speak" and "break" do.
Blah-blah, dainty nymph and say
Shall we play break the bar-lay
For the "Blah-blah"... "come, my." Nothing blatant about that, but if you're sufficiently dirty-minded and/or get the "barley break" reference, it can carry a bit of double entendre in its shoe for good luck.
If we sit and muse we might
O'erlook youth's joys, all gold-bright
Come, my dainty nymph and say
Shall we play break the barley?
I think that just about does it!
