Nice. It also has echoes of Deming's Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle. I like how the cycle is iterative and it feeds back into itself. Feedback would include self-critiques too. One thought, where would "Teach" fall?


Feedback absolutely includes self-critiques.

I don't see Teach as a requirement of research. You can do good research without ever sharing the results.

And I don't see research as a requirement of teaching. If you're a good teacher, you can share and explain information that others have synthesized, possibly better than they could themselves.

Of course, researchers often teach, and it's a requirement for a professor or a Laurel. But I think it's a complementary endeavor, rather than an intrinsic part of it.
