*I notice that most if not all of my humor content these days consists of examples of generally cheerful sarcasm.  I obviously need a dose or two of physical humor; perhaps I shall put Buster Keaton movies on the wish list.  Never watched any, except for the usual snippet with him and the clock, but he's supposed to be hella funny.

Try Keaton's "The General". Good slapstick comedy, an exploding steam engine (REAL, not a model), and something resembling a plot.
