I didn't notice, really, because I have NoScript loaded on my machine now.
Much as I'd love people to give me money to get rid of the advertising, it's probably better if you just get that program.

The absence of a NoScript equivalent is the only thing that keeps me away from Safari or Camino. It's truly Firefox's killer plugin.
It's a very good idea for everyone to get and set to a fairly strict setting. Disable all javascripts except for sites you want to trust. And even then tend to do it temporarily unless it's a site you'll visit a lot and want to trust.
With all the ad services that lately are getting hijacked by virus scammers, NoScript is essential.
